Busy busy this few days. Update on the Sony Malacca trip very soon. Just got back from somewhere during the weekend. Can anyone guess? =D

Last month, Sony organized this trip to Malacca. We met at Mid Valley and then a bus took us there. After that we were give red packets(RM 20 inside =D) on the bus.

Came back and saw this dragonfly at the laundry place at the back of my house so I quickly rushed upstairs to take my cam + tripod + flash!

Surprise!! Suddenly the fans were turned off and then few people came and a guy was holding a cake and singing the birthday song!

“Happy birthday to you…!” *end of song* Actually I knew something was going on because I noticed the fan was turned off and lights I think! But I don’t want to break the surprise lah, later not fun already =P

BUT THIS WAS WHAT SURPRISED ME!!! My CAKE!! I thought it was just another Secret Recipe cake! BUT IT WASN’T!!! It was my ALPHA 300 OMG!

To my baby; Thanks for planning the surprise dinner/cake/presents. <3

To all the others involved and kept a good secret not telling me: Thanks for everything that you put your share in!!

On the 20th of July 08, was my birthday. The day started off with a lunch with my family and then later on birthday dinner at Palete Palette with “Chris & Shiwei, Jean & Amelia and Samantha & Becky.” I never thought Sam would make any surprises cos the dinner was with the usuals. So I did not suspect anything, yet…

I called Becky for the directions to Palate Palette and she told me the way. In the background, I heard a very familiar voice which I was very sure it was Julian. Sam denied and told me “Why would I invite Julian, right?” I started to suspect already la from this point..Very obvious is Julian’s voice!

These five and Kenneth & Julian hid in the restaurant(we sat outside) when I reached and when I sat for like 10 seconds, I asked “Eh bie, why the table so long? Who else coming?” Suddenly they all just rush out from the restaurant! Damn surprised ok! Jonathan somemore all the way from Bangsar! TQ!

I ordered my set lunch that comes with a borsch soup. I love Kim Gary’s borsch soup. One of the best I’ve tasted around KL..

Pork Chop & Spaghetti. This wasn’t what I wanted but I mistakenly read “I” as “L”. Thus the wrong food. But I took it anyways. Taste was quite nice.

Just came back from the Sony Alpha’s Seminar at Le Meridien hotel this morning from 10am till evening 5.30pm. Damn nice. Two speakers, Ted Adnan and Darren were giving talks on 2 topics. 1 each.

After Ted Adnan finished talking, we proceeded to have our lunch at a Arabian restaurant. Quite nice the food. It was a buffet which is also sponsored by Sony!

Basically, Sony sponsored everything - Venue, 2 breaks + lunch buffet and the survival kit!

My Survival Kit which consists of Sony’s umbrella,memory card holder,laptop sleeve,watch,umbrella,t-shit,vest,SLR holder and the waterproof bag =D
